Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

• PLO 1
  Demonstrate knowledge and the ability to generate new knowledge and appropriately address complex management problems in diverse contexts through the application of philosophical concepts and advanced social science research skills. Graduates shall possess the capacity to manage and lead creative transformation in response to national economic and social development policies in an international and sustainable context.
• PLO 2
  Demonstrate self-directed learning skills through social science research processes and the ability to develop new knowledge for both the academic community and communities of practice within contexts characterized by uncertainty and modern economic and social structures. Graduates shall also be able to apply management knowledge efficiently and effectively.
• PLO 3
  Demonstrate morality, ethics, good governance, responsibility, and appropriate professional ethics in accordance with relevant contexts. Graduates shall possess organizational leadership capabilities in the digital era and the new normal era, and be able to perform and develop work that contributes to the advancement of organizations, society, the nation, and the global community. They shall also be responsible members of the scientific community and management communities of practice at both national and international levels.
• PLO 4
  Demonstrate appropriate personal attributes, personality, values, and responsibility consistent with being competent scholars and practitioners. Graduates shall be able to coordinate and collaborate effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds in addressing management problems, serve as role models for others, and appropriately and effectively communicate and disseminate knowledge derived from advanced research to both the academic community and communities of practice.
• PLO 5
  Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills and the ability to creatively enhance organizational quality in highly uncertain environments. Graduates shall be able to appropriately apply innovation and technology to management, research, and the development of new management knowledge in response to the needs of organizational, social, and national development in a creative, internationally oriented, and sustainable manner.

Program Philosophy

The Doctor of Philosophy Program in Management (International Program) is founded on the belief that research serves as a fundamental basis for problem solving, the creation of new knowledge, and innovation. The program therefore aims to develop academic professionals and advanced practitioners who are capable of applying management knowledge through social science research processes to create innovation and address complex problems.

The program emphasizes an integrated approach encompassing planning, development, administration and management, communication, information technology, foreign languages, as well as environmental conservation and sustainability.

• Assign an advisor to the student
• The student meets with the thesis advisor regularly to consult on the thesis topic and research methodology
• The advisor monitors the progress of the research and provides continuous guidance
• The student writes the research paper
• The student presents and discusses the results to advisor

1. The student must successfully complete courses as specified in the curriculum structure and must achieve an average grade of no less than 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or its equivalent
2. The student must pass the qualifying examination to be eligible to submit their dissertation
3. The student must pass the final dissertation defense, which will be evaluated by a committee appointed by the university. The committee must include qualified individuals both from within and outside the institution, and the session will be open to interested participants.
4. The student must demonstrate a moderate level of English proficiency (IELTS score of at least 5.5, or TOEFL score of at least 500 for the Paper-Based Test, 173 for the Computer-Based Test, or 61 for the Internet-Based Test, or CEFR level B2 or higher).
5. The student's dissertation or part of the dissertation must be published or at least accepted for publication in a high-quality international academic journal, in accordance with the regulations set by the Higher Education Commission regarding the evaluation of academic journals for publishing scholarly works
